Public Forum Towards 2020 Proposal
Thursday 29th June 2006- Public Forum, Towards 2020 Proposal, with
Minister for Education Andrew Barr.
Location: Caroline Chisholm High School is on Hambidge Crescent, CHISHOLM ACT 2905, Telephone: 62057277.
This meeting will be held in the gymnasium,which is located at the “back” of the school. Parking is available at the front of the school off Hambidge Crescent. Apparently there will be signposts to the Gymnasium from this main front entrance carpark.
Time:The Information presentation will start at 7pm untill 8.30pm. Please allow time to park and walk a short distance through the school.
Please note: This is billed as an INFORMATION PRESENTATION. From http://www.det.act.gov.au/2020/consultation.htm: This phase will provide opportunities for members of the community to hear the details of the proposal.
Apparently Hall had their forum earlier this week. It was a very ordered affair with the Minister presenting, and some fairly controlled question time. This will be a different experience to the afternoon tea held at Tuggeranong Community Centre.
Please strongly consider attending this public forum. The more people are informed from the horse’s mouth, the better.
Please consider formulating concise and precise questions so that the limited ‘air time’ allocated to public questions can be well utilised.
